This was a literal eleventh-hour finish on an idea I substituted at the last minute. Rushed, and the drawing itself is half-baked. Not at all satisfying.
I had hoped to make better use of the larger frames, but the speed with which I was inking (subsequently using a lot of brushwork) results in what I deemed a loss of control. It's a different feel, which I don't necessarily unlike, but it also means all-the-more giving up the picture I had in my head.
The gasket/door relates to a car repair I had this week, which I then annoyingly globalize to reflect other parts of my life.
