A cautionary tale about relaxing boundaries without fully anticipating the resulting effects. In this case, I think scale was the issue. Clearly, tinkering with the stuff that holds us back leads to catastrophe. This is how my inner WASP functions.
I look at this and see a child throwing a tantrum, refusing to try to change because of the obvious spillage that will result. Better to barely hold it together. It's so petulant that it's funny. My therapist, on the other hand, took to it immediately: messing the clean line ... that's what he's into. This surprised me. My instinct is to dismiss it.
